【摘要】:Thistestmethodisusedtodeterminethevulcanizationcharacteristicsof(vulcanizable)rubbercompoundsunderselectedtestconditionsofstrainandfrequencywhichdonotsignificantlyaffectthecureddynamicproperties.Inthesametest,thistestmethodalsowillmeasurethedynamicpropertiesofthevulcanizateattemperaturessignificantlybelowthecuretemperature.Theselowertemperaturemeasurementsarenecessaryinordertomoreeffectivelyrelatetorubberproductserviceconditions.Thistestmethodmaybeusedforqualitycontrolinrubbermanufacturingprocessesandforresearchanddevelopmenttestingofrubbercompoundscontainingcuratives.Thistestmethodalsomaybeusedforevaluatingcureanddynamicpropertydifferencesresultingfromtheuseofdifferentcompoundingingredients.Foradditionalinformationregardingthesignificanceofdynamictestingofvulcanizedrubber,thereadermaywishtoreferenceGuideD5992.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstheuseofarotorlessoscillatingshearrheometerformeasuringaftercuredynamicpropertiesatpredeterminedtemperature(s)belowthecuretemperature.1.2Specifiedcureconditionsthatapproximateax201C;staticcurex201D;alsoarecoveredtominimizeeffectsoncuredrubbercompounddynamicproperties.ThistestmethodisnotintendedtoreplaceTestMethodD5289.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.1.4Warning8212;Compoundsbasedonsiliconeorfluoroelastomersmayhavehighlevelsofthermalcontractionorpooradhesiontothedieswhencooledafterthecureportionofthistestmethod,causingslippageduringstrainsweeps.Ifthisoccurs,theresultswillnotbereliable.
