【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversasbestos-cementsheetsinflatformdesignedforindustrial,commercial,andgeneralbuildingpurposes,ofthefollowingtypes:1.1.1FlatSheets,TypeF(Flexible)8212;Anasbestos-cementflatsheetsuitableforexteriorandinterioruse,whereaboardhavinghigherstrengthanddensity,smoothersurface,greaterflexibility,andlowermoistureabsorptionisdesired.1.1.2FlatSheets,TypeU(Utility)8212;Anasbestos-cementflatsheetsuitableforexteriorandinterioruse,havingsufficientstrengthforgeneralutilityandconstructionpurposes,andwhereaboardhavingmaximumflexibility,highestdensity,smoothersurface,andlowermoistureabsorptionisnotessential.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.3Warning8212;Breathingofasbestosdustishazardous.Asbestosandasbestosproductspresentdemonstratedhealthrisksforusersandforthosewithwhomtheycomeintocontact.Inadditiontootherprecautions,whenworkingwithasbestos-cementproducts,minimizethedustthatresults.Forinformationonthesafeuseofchrysotileasbestos,refertox201C;SafeUseofChrysotile:AManualonPreventiveandControlMeasures.x201D;1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
