【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversnucleargradeplutoniumdioxide,sinterablepowderobtainedbytheoxalateprecipitationroute,calcinedabove500C,oranyotherequivalentprocessacceptabletothebuyer.Includedisplutoniumdioxideofvariousisotopiccompositionsasnormallypreparedbyin-reactorneutronirradiationofnaturalorslightlyenricheduraniumorbyin-reactorneutronirradiationofrecycledplutoniummixedwithuranium.1.2Thereisnodiscussionoforprovisionforpreventingcriticalityincidents,norarehealthandsafetyrequirements,theavoidanceofhazards,orshippingprecautionsandcontrolsdiscussed.Observanceofthisspecificationdoesnotrelievetheuseroftheobligationtobeawareofandconformtoallnationalandlocalregulationsonprocessing,shipping,orusingsourceorspecialnuclearmaterials.ForexamplesintheU.S.Government,relevantdocumentsareCodeofFederalRegulations,Title10NuclearSafetyGuide,U.S.AtomicEnergyCommissionReportTID-7016,and"HandbookofNuclearSafety",H.K.Clark,U.S.AtomicEnergyCommissionReport,DP-532.1.3ThePuO2shallbeproducedbyaqualifiedprocessandinaccordancewithaqualityassuranceprogramapprovedbytheuser.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
